View Your Current Plan
The Plan page answers three questions: which plan the store is on, what that plan gives you, and whether anything is already scheduled to change. Making the change itself happens elsewhere, and this article points you there.
On this page
Before any decision about money, it is worth knowing what you are actually paying for today. The Plan page is the shortest answer: one plan, one price, one list of what comes with it, and a note if something has already been set to change.
Read it as three questions in order. What am I on. What does it give me. Is anything already pending. The page is laid out in that order, which is why it takes under a minute.
Reaching it needs a role that includes Billing settings. Open Settings > Plan, or select the plan settings link on the Billing page.
What am I on
The plan's name sits at the top with a Current badge beside it, and under it the price with its billing period, as in nineteen dollars a month. This is the figure the store is charged on each renewal, before anything bought separately.
If the price here does not match what you were charged, the difference is usually something billed outside the subscription, such as a domain. The bills themselves are in Billing History, where each one carries the reason it exists.
What does it give me
What's included lists what the plan covers. It is deliberately short, six lines on the smallest plan, and it describes capability rather than limits: a full online store, unlimited products, the checkout, support, an SSL certificate, and features unlocked.
What it does not show is the numbers that separate one plan from the next, the team members and locations each one allows. Those sit on the comparison page, which is what Browse and Compare Plans covers. So this list answers "what can my store do", and the comparison answers "how much of it".
Is anything already pending
This is the part of the page people miss, and it is the reason to read it before acting rather than after.
A plan that has been cancelled does not disappear on the day you cancel it. The page keeps showing the plan as current, because it still is, and marks the state beside the name as Cancellation Scheduled. Under the price a line reads Cancels on with a date, and that date is the end of the period you have already paid for, not the day the request was made.
While that is true, the button that would normally let you cancel is replaced by Reactivate plan. So the page tells you the same thing twice, once as a label and once as a button, and either is enough to know the store is on a countdown.
The reverse case is quieter. When nothing is pending there is no extra label and no date, and the plan runs on until you say otherwise.
Changing what you see here
Nothing on this page has to stay as it is, but the moves themselves belong elsewhere.
Pick Your Plan takes upgrading, downgrading, cancelling and reactivating one at a time, including what each does to what you pay and when it takes effect. The short version is that a change lands at the start of the next billing cycle, so nothing on this page moves the moment you decide.
View all subscriptions, at the foot of the page, opens the subscription record itself, with its status, the period it is in, and its invoices.
If something goes wrong
- The price here does not match a charge. A one-off purchase is billed separately from the plan, so check the bill's reason in your billing history rather than assuming the plan price is wrong.
- A feature you expected is missing. Read What's included first. If it is not listed, it belongs to a higher plan rather than to yours.
- The page says a billing request is still being processed. It will refresh itself once the payment processor confirms. Give it time rather than acting again, since a second attempt is what creates a duplicate.
- You cannot open the page. Your role may not include Billing settings. An owner, or an admin whose role carries it, can open it for you.
Next steps
- Manage Subscriptions for the subscription's own record, its status and its period.
