Infrastructure Settings
Infrastructure settings are not something merchants configure. The page exists in the admin but opens only in development mode, and the hosting, regions, and scaling behind your store are run by Tanqory. This article explains what that means and where to go for the things merchants can control.
On this page
There is nothing for you to set up here. Tanqory runs the hosting, the regions your store is served from, and the scaling behind it, and the Infrastructure page in the admin opens only in development mode, where it states as much on screen. On a normal store it holds no controls.
That is the whole answer for most people, and it is deliberate: the parts of a store that affect customers are the ones you can reach, and the infrastructure beneath them is run for you so that a wrong setting cannot take your storefront down.
What Tanqory handles for you
- Hosting and scaling. Your store stays up through quiet periods and through a sale, without you sizing anything.
- The region your store is served from. This is set when the store is created and is part of how your admin URL is formed.
- Certificates and the content network. These are managed as part of your domain setup rather than as a separate infrastructure control.
What you can control instead
If you came here looking for something specific, it is likely one of these.
| What you wanted | Where it actually lives |
|---|---|
| Your store's web address | Domains |
| Which countries you sell to, and in which currency | Markets |
| Store name, address, and contact details | Store Details |
| Who can sign in and what they can do | Manage Users |
| What your plan includes | Pick Your Plan |
If you think something is wrong at the infrastructure level
Slow pages, errors that appear for every customer, or a storefront that will not load are not settings you can adjust. They are worth reporting rather than working around.
- Check whether the problem is limited to one page or one browser first, since that usually points at content or a theme rather than the platform.
- Note when it started and what a customer sees, so support can match it against the platform's own monitoring.
- Contact Tanqory support with that detail. See Site Loading Slowly for the checks worth doing first.
