Store policies are the six statements your store makes to customers, and the Policies page is where all of them are written. This covers what each one is for, the three values the status column can hold, and why a policy marked Automated is not the same as a policy that is finished. It also covers where the saved policies appear, since checkout links them for you and the storefront menu does not.
Terms of service is the policy that sets the legal terms of buying from your store, covering customer rights, usage terms, liability limits and how disputes are handled. It is written in the same rich-text editor as the other policies, beginning from a template, a generated draft, or an empty page. This covers what the editor holds, how to set the terms, and the problems that come up while doing it.
The Contact information editor is where you provide the business contact details customers use to reach you. It is the one written policy Tanqory marks as required. You can start from a template, generate it, or write your own, from Settings, Policies.
Every store policy is written in the same editor, so learning it once covers all six of them. The editor offers three ways to begin, a ready template, a generated draft, or an empty page, and a rich-text area for shaping whichever you pick. This covers which starting point suits which policy, what the editor itself warns you about templates, and what has to be replaced before the text is fit to save.
A privacy policy tells customers what personal data your store collects, how you use it, and how you protect it. It is one of the policies linked from the footer of checkout, which means it is read at the moment someone is deciding whether to trust you with an order. This covers what such a policy usually contains, how to write and publish yours, and what changes for your store when you set it against leaving it unset.
