Everyone with access to your store sits on one list, sorted into tabs by the state they are in. This covers reading those states, opening a person to change their roles or their sign-in requirement, and the difference between suspending someone and removing them.
Everything about your store subscription lives under Settings: your current plan and what it includes, your billing cycle and next charge, your payment method and invoices, and the add-ons you can top up. This is the overview that ties them together and explains how billing, cancellation, and refunds work.
Billing history is the record of what Tanqory has charged your store, one row per bill, covering the past 12 months. Opening a bill shows what it was for, when it was paid, and an Export bill button for the copy your accountant needs.
A role is a bundle of permissions handed to a person in one go. Four standard roles ship with Tanqory and cover most stores, so the first thing to settle is whether you need one of your own at all. If you do, this walks the whole of building one, from the Roles page to the finished role, including the two things about that form that catch people out.
Two-factor authentication asks for a second proof of identity on top of a password, so a stolen password alone will not get anyone into your store. Tanqory puts it in three separate places, and mistaking one for another is the usual source of confusion: a store-wide rule over the whole team, a toggle on the invite form, and the setting in your own account where a person actually chooses their second step. This article explains which is which.
The Billing page answers one question, what the store is being charged right now, and hands the rest off. Three cards hold the running total for this cycle, the last few bills, and links onward, while the settings themselves live a step away on the Billing profile.
The Compare plans page lays the five Tanqory plans side by side, with monthly or annual pricing, team-member and location limits, transaction fees, and included features. It also has tabs to buy AI Credits, top up a Shipping Balance, and migrate your store to a managed cloud.
Choose or change the plan your store runs on. You start from Change plan on the Plan page, which opens the Compare plans page, then upgrade, downgrade, or switch between monthly and annual. You can also cancel and reactivate your plan from the same page.
Logging in is how you reach your store. You can go in with your email and password, or hand the job to a passkey or to an account you already hold with Google, Apple, Facebook or WhatsApp. This article covers every route on the page, what to do when a password will not come to mind, and how to leave a machine that is not yours.
Access granted once tends to stay granted. This is the upkeep pass: reading the Active tab as a question, clearing invitations nobody accepted, moving roles when someone changes job, and closing access when they leave.
This is the card Tanqory charges you with, not the one your customers pay you through. It covers your subscription and anything else billed to the account, and it is added from the billing preferences page behind Settings, Billing. Choose a card or PayPal, fill in the details, and set it as the default so future bills go to it.
Billing preferences are the business details that appear on your invoices, such as your company name, billing email, purchase order number, billing address, and tax ID. You set them so your invoices are accurate and meet tax requirements. Changes apply to future invoices only.
Changing your password is for when you still know it and want a different one. It happens on your own account Security page, and Tanqory checks twice that it is really you before it will let you through: your password, then a 6-digit code. Only after both does the box appear that takes the new password.
Enabling two-factor authentication for your store requires every team member to use a second verification step when they log in, so a stolen password alone is not enough to get in. You turn it on from the Security page, under Authentication requirements. It is one of the strongest ways to protect your store and your team accounts.
Your profile holds the details that belong to you rather than to the store: your name and photo, the address you log in with, a phone number, and the language, timezone and number format your own screen uses. Changing any of it affects nobody else on the team. The exception worth knowing is your name, which the page says appears on orders and invoices.
An invitation gives someone their own login to your store instead of a copy of yours. The form asks three things: who it goes to, whether they must add a second sign-in step, and which roles they get. After you send it, the invitation sits on the Pending tab until they accept it or it expires.
Opened from Your profile, this page answers one question: has anything happened to your account that was not you. Do not confuse it with the store activity log, which is about what your team does inside a store. Entries are kept for 90 days, and the export carries details the page itself does not show.
The Store activity log records the changes your team makes in your store, so you can see who did what and when. You filter it by category and time range, search it, and export it, which helps you keep your store accountable and audit-ready. Logs are kept for ninety days.
A Tanqory account is what you log in with, and a store is what you sell from. Creating the account takes an email address and a password, or one tap if you already have a Google, Apple, Facebook or WhatsApp account you want to use. Sign-up then runs on past the account: it asks which plan the free trial should run on and what the store is called, and this article covers every card in that sequence.
Resetting your password gets you back into your account when you have forgotten it. You start from the log-in page with Forgot password, and Tanqory emails a reset link to the address on the account, which is what proves the account is yours. The link is good for 1 hour. If the inbox itself is out of reach, the same screen offers a way round that.
This setting decides which language the Tanqory admin speaks to you in, and it is yours alone: your colleagues keep whatever they chose, and your customers never see it. The list runs to 50 languages. It sits on your profile, and like everything else there it does nothing until you press Save.
Your personal timezone decides which clock your own screen shows times in, and the page says what it is for: your activity log. It is separate from the store timezone, which is the one the whole team reads orders against. Changing yours moves nothing for anybody else, which makes it the safe one to correct when only your screen looks wrong.
